Child Sexual Abuse Survivor Story: Marianne | Saprea

Marianne is a survivor of child sexual abuse. As a child, she knew the abuse was not her fault, but it continued to affect her into her adult years, leaving her feeling alone and without support. When she found and attended the Saprea Retreat, she was able to truly continue healing and find the answers she needed.

The Saprea Retreat, for women who were sexually abused as children or teens, is a clinically informed 4-day in-person experience followed by a self-guided online course. The retreat teaches about trauma’s impacts, provides opportunities to apply healing tools, and builds community among survivors. The in-person experience lays a foundation for healing that the online course builds on for deeper understanding and application.
