The video also explains the different types of nodes in the network model, including supply nodes, demand nodes, and transshipment nodes, and how to identify them. The objective function is the number of tons transported multiplied by the cost of transporting those tons. The video explains that prescriptive analytics can be used to solve such optimization problems by identifying the three key characteristics of the business problem and using solver to solve the formulated problem.
