Some days, I just want to fade into the background, hoping no one notices me. There’s comfort in not being seen, an escape from the pressure to stand out or be anything more than I am. It’s easier to blend in, where I don’t have to face myself or what’s expected of me.

It’s not just about being invisible—it’s the fear of what I might find if I look too closely at myself. Hiding feels safer than confronting those fears.

But deep down, I know I can’t hide forever. Even as I retreat, there’s a part of me searching for connection and meaning. Maybe it’s about finding a way to step forward without losing myself in the process. For now, I’ll sit with that uncertainty.
