Wrath Wines represent a nexus of nature and an unbridled passion for wine making. The Thomas family bought San Saba Vineyards in late 2007 and has set out to dramatically change the estate’s wine and viticulture. Wrath is the brainchild of co-owner and wine director Michael Thomas. Michael works closely with his mother Barbara, Wrath’s other owner. Michael combines passion for wine with years of working with soil as an archaeologist. Wrath produces site-driven Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Sauvignon Blanc from estate vineyards and respected properties in the Santa Lucia Highlands. Production is small, distribution is limited and the wines reveal attitude, passion, and an inherent respect for what a vineyard can give.

SIP Certified is a rigorous program that helps growers and wine processors verify their sustainability with independent inspections. The program rules are called the Standards (attached). Certain questions are Requirements and must be in place for certification. Additionally, participants need at least 50% of the Management Enhancement question points. The program runs from December 1 through November 30 the following year.
