Fahmida Bagum Foundation motive "Empowering lives by bridging the gap between privileged and underprivileged communities through sustainable education, healthcare, and socio-economic independence."

Established in 2014 as a tribute to the legacy of the late Mrs. Fahmida Begum, the Fahmida Begum Foundation is a privately owned welfare organization dedicated to "Empowering Lives". The foundation's mission is to support the needy and underprivileged sections of society in Pakistan, helping them grow and contribute to the country's prosperity. FBF's core activities have evolved from providing basic shelter and nourishment to a broad spectrum of services, including education, healthcare, vocational training, women’s empowerment, and disability support. The foundation operates with the steadfast support of the COSARAF Charitable Foundation, UK.
The interior designing of this building is designed by Architect Ilyas Ahmed, whose firm, Consultant Forum, offers over 40 years of expertise in the architecture and construction fields. The firm provides a comprehensive "one-platform" service model, encompassing:

The FBF “CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE AND EMPOWERMENT”
This state-of-the-art, multi-story facility covers 40,000 square feet in the heart of Mehran Town, Karachi. It serves as a central hub for community upliftment, realizing Mrs. Fahmida Begum’s vision of eradicating poverty through empowerment and independence.

EDUCATIONAL SPACES: CLASSROOMS FOR KG-1 AND 2.
ADMINISTRATIVE ZONE: RECEPTION, TRUSTEE OFFICE, PRINCIPAL’S OFFICE, ADMIN OFFICE, AND MD’S OFFICE.
COMMUNITY & SUPPORT: A LARGE ASSEMBLY HALL, DINING HALL, AND A LIBRARY.
OPERATIONAL AREAS: MAIN KITCHEN, VOCATIONAL KITCHEN, MEAL PREP AREA, AND SEVERAL STORAGE ROOMS.
FIRST FLOOR
EDUCATIONAL SPACES: MULTIPLE CLASSROOMS AND A DEDICATED LECTURE ROOM.
HEALTH & WELLNESS ZONE: MEDICAL CLINIC ROOM, DENTAL CLINIC, PHARMACY & MUSIC ROOM.
VOCATIONAL TRAINING: SPECIALIZED ROOMS FOR SEWING/EMBROIDERY AND BEAUTY THERAPY/HAIR DRESSING.
