Perfectly Imperfect: Jan-Willem van den Bosch at TEDxRiga 2013

Описание к видео Perfectly Imperfect: Jan-Willem van den Bosch at TEDxRiga 2013

Theater director Jan-Willem van den Bosch grew up near the hometown of a superb artist Hieronymous Bosch. After leaving the Netherlands in 1992, Jan studied drama in the UK.
Jan has forged a quite international career -- by working in Bosnia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, USA, Germany and Slovenia. He also directed plays in Latvia's Dailes Theater: "The Pillowman" (2005), "Amadeus" (2011), "Gone with the Wind" (2013).
From self-serving to service -- Jan's story is about his revelation of how no longer doing it his way is the ONLY way. Jan feels that he is on the road to success since he surrendered to imperfection. In admitting his need for help and the decision to ask for help lays the foundation for Jan-Willem's resurgence and re-awakening.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
