Learnt about microcontrollers and their classification and the Software and IDE support for them in our previous episodes.

The modern ICs use different voltage level for logic. These voltage levels decode high and low state of a gate. Most of the MCUs work in 5 V power supply. But they may have1.8 or 2.5 or 3.3 V dc or 5 V dc and logic high level.
Further interacting component’s logic level is important. This may damage the interfaced IC. We will learn about different LOGIC levels in this episode.
We learnt about the advantage and disadvantage different logic levels.
We learnt how to interface equipment/ modules in different logic levels in our precious episode.
Also learnt the importance of knowledge of hardware for MCU programming.
The Arduino IDE is free. This support many microcontroller boards. We will learn about the boards supported by the Arduino IDE and it technical specifications in this episode.
