A tow truck driver and two sub aqua divers have their work cut out trying to rescue a waterlogged just bought Ford Granada N66 NTW from the depths of the River Chelmer, Chelmsford, at the Navigation Road car park way back in 1983.

Hopefully, some of the participants will be able to help with more information about the incident?

And the driver - her water skiing prank backfired, but she escaped!!

The photographer you see is Clive Tarling, working at the time for the old Chron, who carved out a career freelancing for corporates.

Dan Ashwell shared a link on Facebook 23 March 2017 -
This is my boss (David Rickett) when he worked at another body shop back in the day when health and safety weren't ott. He's the one with the Landrover pulling the Granada out the river after a lady got confused and stepped on the accelerator instead of the brake.
