TV legend Regis Philbin, who passed away at 88 this past weekend, is being mourned around the globe. Authorities said Tuesday Philbin died from heart disease. Regis’s heart issues are well-documented. In 1993, he underwent an angioplasty, and in 2007, he had a triple bypass surgery. When he returned to “Live! with Regis and Kelly,” he received a rousing round of applause. Philbin will be buried at Notre Dame University, his beloved alma mater, in Indiana. #InsideEdition
