Norfolk Southern Pocahontas Division: Mid-April Railfanning

Описание к видео Norfolk Southern Pocahontas Division: Mid-April Railfanning

Back in Mid-April of this year, my dad and I took a week-long trip up to the Norfolk Southern Pocahontas Division in southern West Virginia. Unlike the last time I tried this, I actually had a plan in mind that I stuck to, and boy did it pay off! We saw just about everything imaginable; Dash 9s, GEVOs, C6Ms, ACes, SD40-2s, Patched units, foreign power and even a heritage unit! Not to mention plenty of coal trains, which are always a treat to see for a southeast boy like me. Two and a half days worth of time trackside accounted for a little over 30 trains.

This video is also a little different from most of my other railfanning videos, as I tried different things with camera angles, I used a tripod (although it may not look it in some shots) and even incorporated drone footage on this trip, courtesy of my dad. I pulled all of the stops out to provide you with the best video I could detailing this trip.

If you're still reading this, I hope you enjoy (or enjoyed) the video! Be sure to leave a like and/or comment and subscribe! Thank you!
