Buses at Blacktown - Sydney Transport

Описание к видео Buses at Blacktown - Sydney Transport

In this video we see some buses at Blacktown railway station, a major transport interchange in Sydney's western suburbs serving the large suburb of Blacktown and the surrounding region. Here we see a variety of buses operated by Busways, CDC Hillsbus and Transit Systems. Buses we see include MAN 18.310 HOCL-R-NL's, Volvo B7RLE's and Scania L94UB's with Volgren CR228L, Custom Coaches CB80 and Bustech VST bodies, and more!

Date: 6th February 2014

This station highly reminds me of Dandenong station in Melbourne's outer south-east for a couple of reasons. Both are located around 30km away from their receptive CBD's and serve major suburban centres. Both were reconstructed in 1995. Both are made out of materials such as steel and glass. Both serve as junctions for two railway lines (one being a branch) and both have large bus interchanges. Blacktown station however is much larger both in the number of platforms and the concourse which hosts a variety of shops, even a McDonalds.
