Longplay: Wolfenstein 3D - Original Encounter [100%] (1995) [3DO]

The 3DO port of Wolfenstein 3D is a major revamp of the SNES port.

The Original Encounter (aka 1st Encounter & 2nd Encounter on the Macintosh) was the thirty level campaign originally released with Wolfenstein 3D for the Mac Family (Mac/Jaguar/3DO/Apple IIGS) based on the SNES version's storyline (but uncensored). It is followed by a modified version of the original six episode campaign also known as the 3rd Encounter on Mac.
This is known as The Claw of Eisenfaust in the Japanese version of Wolfenstein 3D.

Mission One: Dresden Strike
Location: Castle outside Dresden
Objective: Terminate Hans Grosse and escape
Level 1 corresponds to Episode 1/Floor 1 from the DOS version.

Mission Two: A Dark Secret
Location: Castle Erlangen
Objective: Terminate Trans Grosse and escape
Levels 1, 2, 3 and 4 correspond to Episode 3/Floor 1, Floor 3, Floor 4 and Episode 4/Floor 9 from the DOS version.

Mission Three: Operation Eisenfaust
Location: Dr. Schabb's Research Laboratory
Objective: Terminate Dr. Schabbs
Levels 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 correspond to Episode 2/Floor 1, Floor 3, Floor 4, Floor 9 and Episode 3/Floor 6 from the DOS version.

Mission Four: Trail of the Madman
Location: Mountain Fortress
Objective: Terminate the Übermutant
Levels 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 correspond to Episode 4/Floor 1, Floor 2, Floor 4, Floor 8 and Episode 5/Floor 9 from the DOS version.

Mission Five: Confrontation
Location: Castle Heidenheim
Objective: Terminate the Death Knight
Levels 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 correspond to Episode 5/Floor 1, Floor 2, Floor 4, Floor 5, Floor 6 and Episode 6/Floor 9 from the DOS version.

Mission Six: Hitler's Last Stand
Location: Castle Wolfenstein
Objective: Terminate Hitler
Levels 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 correspond to Episode 6/Floor 1, Floor 5, Floor 4, Floor 7 and Episode 3/Floor 9 from the DOS version.

Differences between the SNES and 3DO ports:
- Digitized soundtrack to showcase the power of CD Audio.
- High-resolution graphics from previous two ports & improved sounds.
- Censorship removed; Enemies now bleed, speak German, Killer Dogs, Adolf Hitler and swastikas restored.
- Original Encounter campaign (from the SNES/Jaguar/Mac versions) + original six episode (60 level) campaign from the PC versions.
- UberMutant and The Angel of Death from Spear of Destiny are present.
- Levels (from the Original Encounter campaign) seem to be smaller but resemble the same as the PC-version and come in a different order.
- Enemies don't have keys so when they're alerted they won't come for you.
