The origin of Scar in The Lion King used to be considered an obvious story, but it’s starting to look like there’s a lot more to his self-appointed name than fans originally thought. As you know, Scar wasn’t always the cunning villain’s name, and over the years fans have come to learn Scar’s original name from a few different sources that are all considered to be different levels of canon.
