MS in Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutics Symposium

On Sept. 5, 2019, nearly 150 of the students enrolled in the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy's (UMSOP) MS in Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutics degree program attended a symposium held at the Universities at Shady Grove, where the program is based. Speakers included UMSOP Dean Natalie Eddington, PhD, FCP, FAAPS; Program Director Leah Sera, PhD, FCP, FAAPS; UMSOP Professor Andy Coop, PhD; and Maryland Carey Law alum William Tilburg, JD, MPH, director of policy and government affairs for the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission. Students interviewed include Catrena Almonte, Brandon Coleman, Summer Kriegshauser, Kimber Wise; and UMSOP alums Tecoya Farrakhan, PharmD, and Karriem Farrakhan, PharmD.
