Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman says, the world has recognised India as a bright star, and the Indian economy is heading towards a bright future. The world appreciates India's growth. This is the first budget in 'Amrit Kaal'. Sitharaman stated in her budget speech that this budget hopes to build on the foundations laid in the previous budget and the blueprint drawn for India at 100. The budget is the Modi government's last full-fledged budget before it faces the 2024 Lok Sabha election.
