After a rocky start to the season, is Alton Towers back to its best for the Summer? We went to find out.

The park this year has felt a little flat, whilst Nemesis Reborn was obviously welcome, closed rides and attractions, with breakdowns and operations have sparked a few complaints. However, we headed back to the park for the Summer to see for ourselves.

Sadly with Hex still closed, Wickerman was also closed (we did know) however with plenty of coaster to experience, we even head to ones usually missed, in RITA and Spinball Whizzer. Was it a good day? Is Alton Towers still the UK's number one theme park? Let us know your thoughts.
