I want to provide some background information that you may not know by watching my speech.

Audience Analysis:

Do I need creativity to pass Mrs. Rackley’s math test? Mrs. Rackley is the math teacher at my school. My classmates had a math test a week ago.
Is it going to help me memorize Mrs. Anderson’s grammar memory? I performed this speech during English class. An always dreaded assignment is the Grammar Memory List that Mrs. Anderson, my English teacher, assigned every year. It is paragraphs of information to memorize and recite weekly. My fellow classmates dread this assignment as much as I do so I knew it would help them apply their selves to my speech. My English teacher was also present and I knew it would get a reaction out of her. She chuckled.
What about after you graduate? I was speaking to a room of of 5 juniors.
When I was in elementary school, I used to pretend to be a werewolf& a vampire. I was convinced for a year that I was a vampire. My last name is Trueblood, so I got the comparison often and took on the persona. After I got over the fact that I was indeed not a bloodsucking immortal being. My next fascination was werewolves. While the other kids would be playing on the swings. I was telling my best friend about how I met my werewolf friends in the woods last night. I have now accepted the fact that I cannot turn into a vicious yet adorable wolf. My class often shares stories of events in their own life and enjoy hearing stories. I knew this would help my come across better because they would be interested in the story as it is one I have not told them before.
Kids pretend to be insane things. Insane and Loco are common words in my classmates vocabulary. One student in the audience consistently says ,"That's insane" at least once a day.
Sadly, we are not toddlers anymore and naptime is a thing of the past. My classmates have often asked teachers for naptime. So I thought including it in my speech would help them relate better.
A NASA scientist may do background research. One of my classmates is a NASA enthusiastic that dreams of being an astronaut. I knew this would give me a reaction. She audibly said "Yes" when I came to this part of the speech.
molly gobble, the ghost (hungry ghost that can’t eat because she is a ghost) One of my classmates likes to draw ghosts on the white baord or as she calls them "spooks".
Pineapple growing in an apple tree One of my classmates loves pineapples and even has a pineapple on the back of her car. She smiled at this idea
It is a skill just like learning how to shoot a 3-pointer. The camera man is basketball player.

Visual Aids: I created all visual aids shown except for the reference pictures. The reference pictures came from my personal collection of reference sources (magazines I got for free). The visual aids behind me are meant to establish credibility and show my experiences using the creative process. This is an example of primary research because I am taking my own experiences instead of hearing about somebody else's second hand. (P.S. If you are interested, my favorite romance novel is The Secret of Ella and Micah.
