1973 Darrell Waltrip flip @ Nashville Fairgrounds

Darrell Waltrip flips while practicing for the season-opening 1973 Permatex 200 NASCAR Late Model Sportsman Series race at Nashville Fairgrounds. Something broke on Waltrip's car causing his Chevelle to sail over the turn 1 wall and roll four times down the infield embankment coming to rest near the garage area.

This footage was originally shot by Ricky Haynes and his Super 8mm film was recently digitized and shared to Youtube. Audio has been added to the original 8mm film. A big thanks to Random Reviews for mentioning this flip to me.
