Quandary Peak WEST RIDGE Solo Summit! EPIC Mtn Goat Escort, CO 14er [4K UHD Cinematic]

This was an Extraordinary Colorado 14er Adventure with many very Special Moments from the breathtaking fog rolling into the valley the night before to the super friendly Mother and Baby Mountain Goats greeting me at the ridge. Then another small heard of Goats lead me through the crux of the route, WOW! The whole time surrounded by a stunning backdrop of towering spires and blue shimmering lakes, one of my best trips of the season! I was reluctant to take this trip due to my fears of huge crowds and those fears were justified but only at the summit. The intimidating crux of the west ridge left me seeing only two other climbers along that route. . . one of which, German Dave, joined me for a pleasant descent back to the Blue Lake Dam. Colorado mountain climbing at it's best!
