SWFL Eagles ~ M15 Returns In The Morning & Waits For E22 💗 Finally Takes Prey Off Nest! 6.12.23

M15 is such an amazing Dad 💗 I know we all have been saying this each and every day as we watch him care for his family as both Mother and Father this season with Harriet gone. Once again, M15 rises to the level of the Greatest Eagle Dad Of All Times! Last night, if you recall, M15 came to the nest in the evening and he brought prey and he left it on the nest and waited for E22 to come claim it. M15 even waited for E22 at the pond for a long time before flying off to roost. Well, M15 arrives back at first light this morning and he lands on the attic and he waits again for E22. We have been so lucky to hear E22's morning squeeing and seeing E22 land on the attic but today the nest tree was silent. M15 waits and waits for E22, scanning the pasture and skies for his beloved last eaglet. M15 even calls out to E22 to let E22 know that he is waiting at home with food...but the pasture is so quiet. M15 looks down at the prey he brought and still he waits and does not eat it. What an amazing Dad!!

After waiting 20 minutes, M15 finally drops to the nest and grabs his prey and flies off with it in his talons to the office oak to eat. After eating his breakfast, M15 flies to the pond for a few sips of water and to wade at the water's edge. He still is waiting for E22 💗 Finally, M15 will fly back up to the office oak. No sign of E22 since the morning of June 10th. Time will tell if E22 has left on its journey. Thank you for watching!
