These are 'rough notes' on 5G that I put together with the assistance of ChatGTP after reading an article on the known environmental impacts. It seems crazy that governments concerned about climate change are sanctioning/promoting this. Those sceptical about the climate crisis ask if there is really a crisis. I don't blame them but can see that the real question is not over the authenticity of climate science but over the responsibility of our systems of governance. Those systems must be pretty messed up, pretty inadequate and pretty obviously so if something so obviously detrimental is being given the go-ahead. Obviously I'm no expert I'm relying on ChatGTP to give me the lowdown on this but it is very likely accurate and if it isn't perhaps someone will set me straight when I share these notes. But it must be clear, surely, that our structures are messed up and we need to transform those structures, ourselves and the way we think and talk about these things.
