In this video I will be showing you how to use side chain compression in Reason 12. This tutorial will show you how to set up side chain compression to use specifically with the Kick drum and 808 bass lines. This tutorial will show you how to set up the compression using Reason's built in mix bus and as well as using the M class compressor and routing in the reason rack.

Personally, this is my favorite feature of reason: flipping the rack around and plugging cables into different devices to get the desired sound or effect.
