A busy morning at the allotment with harvesting being the focus. It was very interesting to compare harvesting my Raspberries half of which were transplanted this year and half were already established, watch the results. Gooseberry Fool tempted me to harvest some of my remaining gooseberries. Today was the day that I did a complete Garlic harvest , I am trying to determine the best way to grow garlic on my plot in the knowledge that I have white rot in most beds. Some of my sprouts have severe slug damage , I have replanted them twice so this time I took a different approach. A catastrophe at the tunnel meant I had to make some repairs, watch for the details.
