Terahertz radiation changes protein structure in cells

Does terahertz wave affect life phenomena? We recently found that the actin protein, which plays important role in cell functions, are changing its morphology by the irradiation of THz wave. In this video, we will review the latest findings of our research project. (Hiromichi Hoshina, RIKEN)
