A 1-credit clear of the arcade game Mamoru-kun wa Norowareteshimatta! Played with flycast-win64-2.2, score 1,962,080. I've been checking out some games in alphabetical order - Magical Cat Adventure, MagMax, and now it was Mamoru's turn.

When I first tried this game, the time limit seemed like a big worry. What I realized after seeing some other playthroughs is that while it might be hard to defeat all the enemies within the time limit, you can speedrun the levels and finish the four timed missions with well over 2 of your 5 minutes left.

So, time limit no longer a problem. What IS a problem is the final boss! The first phase isn't too bad - try to keep walking left, and use bullet cancels frequently. (Starting to hold button B, the curse button, cancels all enemy bullets - this is very important, and there are times when I use the curse button purely for the bullet canceling effect) The second phase is rough - dodging his shots while also dealing with the zako enemies from both sides is tricky, and the zako can zip around and shoot if they enter your curse zone. I didn't get an entirely consistent approach, but I played well enough (and had good enough luck) to squeak out a clear.
