Here is the car we call The Coyote. It's a '89 Fox Body Mustang with all the glass, mirrors, a/c, stereo, with a Gen 2 Coyote, twin 6266 Precision Turbos, Holley Dominator fuel management system, stock 8.8 rear, Sonnax power glide, ID 1300, Precision shifter, mini-tubbed with trunk intercooler and fuel-cell running E-85 , rear radiator, Santuff shocks, 17 RC Comps on the front & 28 10.5 slicks on the back and no traction control. Stock dash with Holley display. Kicker audio speakers, CO2 bottle in the back and no backseat at the moment. Still has a few things I'd like to change for next year, like running the exhaust out of the back, putting the wiring more under passenger dash and getting Mike Crisp in Amarillo to paint it.

Thanks to Sean Kelley and his dad out in Virginia Beach for building a bad fast race car. I bought it from Josh Gill who bought it in Texas. Josh wrapped the fenders and I focused on the suspension. Josh also tuned and maintained power management on The Coyote for the #streetoutlaws #405 show. Thanks to Mike Duffy Race cars and Santuff struts. We added weight where it needed to be added and we think The Coyote will be the car to beat for a few years.

As far a building it yourself, you can buy a Fox Body with Gen 2 stock Coyote, add a few #precisionturbo and some #holleyperformance parts for around 30-35K.

We're cruising HWY 152 hoping to run into a street race. Probably not, since they're all farmers out here. Unless we find one at the 7-11. Maybe my neighbors #daddydave or #murdernova will be out in their extreme daily drivers.

The Coyote isn't a highway car. It's geared to race. I think the power glide works better on the street. My buddy John Urist out in Albuquerque NM has proved you can go really fast with a Coyote motor and power glide. Sonnax builds the best stuff for power glide.
