Pozo Sangüento (Sangoento) a vista de dron (19/07/2024) | DJI Mini 3 Pro

Grabación de Pozo Sangüento (Pozo Sangoento en gallego), ubicado en las cercanías de Cerdedo, en Pontevedra. Se trata de una poza formada por una pequeña cascada existente en el río Seixo, tributario del río do Castro, primero, y del Lérez, después. El agua en ella es cristalina, y la poza forma un claro entre la abundante vegetación de la zona. Se encuentra en una zona algo abrupta, lo que hace que la poza tenga una buena profundidad. Junto a la poza se encuentra el viejo camino que unía Cerdedo con La Lama, a día de hoy abandonado, si bien se encuentra señalizado, limpio y bien mantenido, lo que hace que el paseo para llegar a la poza sea muy agradable.

Existe una leyenda que cuenta que una yunta de bueyes arrastraba un carro, un arado y una grada, todos ellos hechos de oro. Por lo abrupto del terreno en esa zona, los bueyes perdieron pie, y se precipitaron por la ladera del monte, acabando en el fondo de la poza, donde aún se encuentra el tesoro. Sin embargo, éste es custodiado por la Serpiente Bichoca, que vive en la poza y guarda el tesoro, por lo que los incautos que intentan hacerse con el mismo son muertos por la serpiente. Yo puedo decir que me he bañado en la poza, y si bien no hay serpiente, tampoco hay tal tesoro. :D

Recording of Pozo Sangüento (Pozo Sanguento in Galician), located near Cerdedo, in Pontevedra. It is a pool formed by a small waterfall in the Seixo River, a tributary of the River do Castro, and later, the Lérez. The water in it is crystal clear, and the pool creates a clearing among the abundant vegetation in the area. It is situated in a somewhat rugged area, giving the pool a good depth. Next to the pool is the old path that connected Cerdedo with La Lama, which is now abandoned, although it is marked, clean, and well-maintained, making the walk to the pool very pleasant.
A legend tells of a yoke of oxen pulling a cart, a plow, and a harrow, all made of gold. Due to the rugged terrain in that area, the oxen lost their footing and fell down the mountainside, ending up at the bottom of the pool, where the treasure is still located. However, it is guarded by a snake called Bichoca, which lives in the pool and protects the treasure, so the unwary who try to seize it is killed by the serpent. I can say that I have bathed in the pool, and while there is no serpent, there is also no treasure. :D
