Notes: I like the, tuner, amp, deck, deck, CD top-to-bottom configuration normally, but the cassette deck is designed to be on the bottom of the stack and is replaceable. In an effort to protect the CD player from the weight pressure while on the shoulder, I sandwiched it between the decks in this stack to protect it. The stack now has a proper metal bracket to hold the stack together as you can see. Also, to be able to throw this on the shoulder more easily (just barely) I removed the Y-splitter connected RCA cables from the bottom deck and put them under the back cover. Once the JVC PC-5 XL arrives where it needs to be, you just plug those back in and/or also move the power connector from top deck to bottom to use the second bank of batteries inside the deck for double the battery operated time in the park.

55lbs as you know with 16 D batteries loaded. Looks pretty good, right?
