About Reid Hall’s academic programs

During the academic year, students can choose between programs in French (Fall and Spring) or English (Fall semester only).

The French Immersion Program encourages you to challenge yourself both academically and personally. Immersing yourself in the French language through your coursework and daily life, you will push yourself beyond your comfort zone and expand your ways of thinking.

The English Program allows you to take courses taught in English at Reid Hall and the Paris campus of Sciences Po, a world-renowned institution in the social sciences. Depending on your goals and interests, you will choose from a broad range of options in the social sciences. In addition, Sciences Po offers a select number of opportunities for courses in the humanities.

Students have several program options available to them in the summer. Explore the various opportunities and apply to spend your summer discovering Paris through Neuroscience, Art and Music Humanities, the Columbia in Paris Summer Program (with course offerings in French and English), faculty led programs and many more.
