What a Year It's Been for Wildwood Trust 👏

Of course, we can’t fit everything into one post! This year has been overflowing with incredible moments, from bear brain surgery, exciting animal arrivals to groundbreaking conservation achievements. Every project, milestone, and visitor has played a part in shaping this unforgettable year for Wildwood Trust.

🐻 brave Boki became the first brown bear in history to undergo life saving brain surgery

🐦‍⬛ We celebrated the birth of the first wild chough chick in 200 years

🦊 Our Arctic fox family grew with 10 beautiful cubs this year

🦬 Our Blean Bison Project welcomed two new calves, reinforcing the success of our groundbreaking rewilding efforts.

🦞 Saving the Native Crayfish: In Devon, we’ve been leading the charge in protecting the UK’s native crayfish, giving these little-known heroes a fighting chance.
