History:
I found the OST in high quality on the reddit by a deleted user:
  / fantasy_life_soundtrack  
which is a ripped version of the official CD release. It has a way way higher bitrate (hence quality) than the files in the rom.
The Origin Island DLC music and unused music was extracted from a .cia rom.

With the addition of the Fantasy Life Online game to the series, I tried my best to scavenge audio files through the available apks, but i couldn't find anything, only gigabytes and gigabytes of item icon pngs and stuff. My assumption is that the music is streamed through the servers, but it seems weird. Although this was bumming me a lot since there was clearly new music, the recent announcement of Fantasy Life i on the Nintendo Switch means these musics will be part of the game. I will make a soundtrack selection for these as well.
