For this Air-Shutter Adjustment we used an American Outdoor Grill because the pipe burner air adjustment sleeve is the same as all kinds of pipe burners.
Adjusting the air shutter is important because this is the barbecue's carburetor and gas must mix with oxygen to burn. This short video will demonstrate how to adjust for proper flames in any gas grill and how to tell when the air adjustment is mixing properly. We also show what the flames look like with too much air flow and too little air flow so anyone can look at the burner flames and know what adjustments need to be made for the BBQ grill to burn more effectively.
