My name is Atoshini Yepthomi, and I am 57 years old.
In 2021, during a routine health check-up through a FIT test, I was diagnosed with Stage 1 colon cancer. At the time, I was asymptomatic and in good health. During a subsequent colonoscopy, five polyps were removed, one (3 mm) of which was cancerous. It was successfully removed, and no further treatment was required.

Despite this initial success, a follow-up scan revealed that the cancer had returned and progressed to Stage 4. I underwent one major surgery, one minor surgery, and twelve rounds of intensive chemotherapy over six months.

Throughout this journey, I have been profoundly sustained by the grace of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. By His mercy, I am now cancer-free.

I share my story to raise awareness about cancer and to encourage those facing similar challenges. The road was filled with fear and uncertainty, yet God’s presence was my constant strength. Faith does not mean the absence of trials, but the assurance that God walks with us through every storm.

Today, I stand as a living witness of God’s healing power, and my journey testifies to Luke 1:37 — “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Amen.
