In this first sequel to the Arnold classic, 'Lethal Weapon' sidekick Danny Glover gets top billing as Lt. Mike Harrigan, a perpetually sweaty, perpetually pissed-off cop who discovers that a trophy-hunting alien is behind a series of grisly murders.

The impressive supporting cast includes the late (and great) Bill Paxton as a fast-talking LAPD detective, Gary Busey as a crazed federal agent, Robert Davi as a high-ranking official who yells at our hero -- because this is an action film -- and Kevin Peter Hall returning as a Predator.

Excoriated as an ultra-violent let-down of a follow-up by critics upon release, the Stephen Hopkins-directed film has found a devoted cult in the decades since thanks to a bizarre tone, silly -- but fun -- action set pieces, and some truly terrible Predator films.
