Checking On Our Bees After The Worst Northern Wisconsin Winter I Have Ever Seen.

I do a lot of different things here in Northern Wisconsin. Beekeeping is just a hobby, but can be frustrating. Did they make it through winter? Some of them, yes. Let's see what we have to start out the summer of 2023.

Surviving Northern climates is extremely challenging. Many beekeepers lose hives, some don't have any survive. We are fortunate enough that these survived. Winter kill is a serious problem, especially when we had the worst winter I can remember.
