The Lifters damaged the Camshaft on this Ram 1500 with the 5.7 Hemi

Hey Good People,

Had a 2013 Dodge Ram in the shop this week. As some of you may know, lifter failure is a real problem for the Hemi 5.7L engines. These engines can also be found in the Dodge Chargers, Challengers, Durangos, Chrysler 300s, Jeep Grand Cherokees, and Jeep Commanders to name a couple off the top of my head. In this case, the lifter failure actually caused damage to the camshaft costing the customer more money. I know he was grateful that that CarShield covered the 80% of the job for him.

In this video, I just wanted to do like a "show and tell" to show you guys what the repair process is like and what the parts look like etc. I hope you learn something from this video, this is always the goal.
