Counter-UAS and air-defence tech firm Indrajaal Drone Defence has launched the country’s first Anti-Drone Patrol Vehicle (ADPV) — a mobile, AI-enabled platform capable of detecting, tracking and neutralising drones while on the move. Unlike conventional vehicle-mounted systems limited to point-defence duties, the ADPV extends protection across borders, cities and high-risk corridors.
The system offers autonomous threat assessment, instant interception and real-time neutralisation powered by Artificial Intelligence. Retired Lieutenant General Devendra Pratap Pandey described the ADPV as a “protective shield,” highlighting its role in modern security operations.
Founder and CEO Kiran Raju said the ADPV — branded as the Indrajaal Ranger — adds a transformative layer to national security by stopping cross-border criminal activity, preventing narcotics and illicit weapons from entering the country, and protecting border-side communities. Its automated interception system also eases operational pressure on police and BSF personnel, enabling smarter, data-driven deployment.
