How-to Hairstyle using Banana Clip for Half Updo & All Updo That Last All Day Long

I am a banana clip fan. I have been using banana clips for more than 10 years. It is a great hair accessory for everyday looks as well as quick party hairstyle.

One thing about banana clip is that it gives you comfort. It will not pull your hair tight like a rubber band or a scruchy does. Banana clips hold our hair perfectly in place, provided that you choose the right size for your hair. All day long, you will not bend your hair with the banana clip, and the best thing is it will not give you the headache like some other hair accessories.

I've seen some videos on YouTube demonstrating how to use a banana clips but it is not the way I use it. So, I am creating this tutorial video in the hope to share my way of creating a ponytail using banana clip the way I do it that can give the user utmost comfort all day long.

In this video, I am using a 10cm banana clip that I bought from Korea. It has small, long grippers inside and the banana clip itself is curvy, so the tip is that we turn the curvy part inward not outward to make sure that the banana clip/pin would stay perfectly still for the rest of the day. I find this 10cm banana clip work best on medium thick hair, regardless of the length, it will hold the ponytail well and secure it in place without causing discomfort as you move.

If you like having your hair up, I strongly recommend you one of the banana clip. Choose well, trust me, there are many types of banana clips, many lengths, many different grippers. Some would seem to hold your hair in place for a short time but as you move, it slips. so I recommend you start by testing it, wear it, shake your head little, walk a little to see if it perfectly stays. A fitted banana clip would hold your hair up in place, without pulling the root of your hair hard, would not slip, would not tilt and it should be able to give you comfort and stay in place all day long.
