Three ways to diagnose diabetes:
.1) If your fasting blood sugar is 126mg/dl or higher
( 7mmol/l)
2) If you have symptoms of DM such as fatigue, urinating more, feeling thirsty, weight loss, blurred vision and a random blood sugar of 200mg/dl or above (11.1 mmol/l)
3) If a blood test called HbA1c is 6.5 percent (48 mmol/mol) or higher. This value measures your average blood sugar in the last 3 months.
