The National Environmental Management Authority (NEMA) has conducted inspections of the areas affected by the crude oil pipeline across 10 districts in the Bunyoro region. Led by NEMA Executive Director Dr. Akankwasa Barirega, the purpose of the inspection was to ensure that the East African crude oil pipeline project has met all the licensing conditions concerning the livelihoods of affected individuals.
