The titular song for the album Wicked Light was written by Annelies Jonkers & Legiana Collective.
It is a common theme in folktales: an evil spirit lures people away to a dark place when they are wandering in the woods. This song tells of a treacherous blue light that takes in anyone who should look at it. Distracted and spellbound, it's victims are lost to their lovers.
It may sound like a story from a faraway time, but in truth, we are singing about a very modern foe: our smartphone.
