The IPE headers and high flow cats have completely changed the exhaust note. I publishing this so that anyone wanting to do headers,cats and a tune is aware of this fact! The tuners don't really talk about it, they just say that the exhaust note gets deeper (WRONG!) and louder (YES VERY VERY LOUD).

I have found it sounds more like a race car with this setup. It barks at cold startup (wake the neighbors up loud) and no longer has that DEEP AMG burble at low RPM (say up to 3K rpm) and tends to sound more like a trumpet.

At WOT it sounds awesome but is SO LOUD (louder than a Ferrari or Harley at WOT) so you can only kind of do it on the open road!

And yes the increase in power delivery is noticeable.
