Old Glory, our Ford 8N tractor died while I was grading the fence line. We find fuel in the oil pan, a loud noise when we cranked over the engine. So we do compression test, find the the starter damaged with a broken gear. So we replaced the starter, change the oil & filter and antifreeze along with new spark plugs. We clean the distributor cap and rotor.
