Concave Mirror : - A Concave Mirror is a mirror in which Reflection takes place from a depressed Plane In other words Inner Surface.

Concave Mirror : - A Convex Mirror is a Mirror in which Reflection takes Place from a raised surface In other words outer surface

Centre of Curvature : - The Centre of the Sphere of which the Mirror is a Part is called the “Centre of Curvature” of the Mirror.
It is on the reflecting Surface in a Concave Mirror and other side of convex Mirror. It is denoted by “C”


Radius of Curvature : - The Radius of the sphere of which the mirror is part called “Radius of Curvature of Mirror.

Pole : - The Mid Point of the Reflecting Surface of a Mirror is called the “Pole of Mirror”

Principal Axis : - The line joining of the pole and the centre of Curvature of mirror is called the Principal Axis of Mirror.

Principal Focus : - The Point on the Principal Axis at which the Rays of light Parallel to the Principal Axis of the Mirror either Actually meet or Appear to meet After Reflecting from the mirror is called the Principal Focus of the Mirror.

Focus Length : - The Distance from the Pole of the Mirror to the Principal Focus is called focus length of Mirror.
