All Harare Mayors from 1890 - 2022 in 5 minutes

Zimbabwe has a very long list of Mayors since the colonisation of Zimbabwe by Cecil John Rhodes and his British South Africa Company, the history of harare or the history of salisbury is not complete without mentioning those who have presided over the capital city when the country was still called Rhodesia.

The list comprises of very notable rhodesians like the founter of the Herald Newspaper william fairbridge and many others

After independence we also had verypopular mayors including tthe popular Solomon Tawengwa, Elias Mudzuri and the infamous Sekesai Makwawarara.
