'Duremar' song is one of the songs from the 'The Adventures of Buratino', screen version of a very popular novel by A. Tolstoy `Buratino`, directed by Leonid Nechayev in 1975. `Buratino` was Aleksey Tolstoy's retelling of Carlo Collodi's 'Pinocchio'. Duremar (Дуремар) is a poor friend of Karabas Barabas who catches leeches for a living and so disturbs Tortilla's pond.

This is the scene from the New Year's Eve show made in in 2005, where this song is performed by Dima Bilan.

Duremar - Lyrics

Bird catcher sings about birds
And fisherman sings about fish
Leeches are my singing words
I sell them to you if you wish!

Place your order -- no hitches
For the medicinal leeches
From bronchitis, tonsillitis,
Tuberculosis and cirrhosis,
Nasal fungus and flu virus
These little bloodsuckers will help you
My dear, my dear
Leeches - they cost quite a bit for a few

But from greediness, ribbit,
And from avarice
And from meanness, ribbit,
And stupidity
And from liking to exhibit
Ribbit - ribbit - ribbit - ribbit
They're useless leeches in a jar
You horrid, nasty Duremar

Florist sings about flowers
Beekeeper sings about bees
Leeches give me singing powers
For money I'm selling you these!

Eradicated by the leeches
Warts and pimples -- no glitches
Cure from hiccups, yawn attacks,
From fatness and from boldness,
Blindness and deafness
These little bloodsuckers will help you
My dear, my dear
Leeches - they cost quite a bit for a few!

But from greediness, ribbit,
And from avarice
And from meanness, ribbit,
And stupidity
And from liking to exhibit
Ribbit - ribbit - ribbit - ribbit
They're useless leeches in a jar
You horrid, nasty Duremar

...Go away, you, Duremar!
