Br. Paul Quenon, OCSO, a monk at the Abbey of Gethsemani and student of Thomas Merton, guides participants through the 'Lectio Divina.' The session begins with a brief film of the monks of Gethsemani singing 'Tierce.' The 'Lectio Divina' begins with a reading from the Psalms recited as the point of reflection. This is followed by recitation of the 'Prayer of the Heart,' using a line from the text repeated over and over, and finally tapering off into silent prayer. This presentation is designed to be accessible to a broad religious spectrum.
