I never owned a Branches module but have been using probability as an event density control since I first got Marbles and continue to implement it into my hybrid systems.

In this patch I’m using DivSkip’s Branches mode (Bernoulli Gate) to coin toss the first two channels which are self-patched into the second two channels so that if 1/2 fire B, it’s ‘normal’ and if they fire A, they go into Ch 3/4 for further probability carving as 3/4’s A out is unpatched.

Channels 1/2 trigger envelopes for the first output of two separate Tides modules.

Channels 3/4 trigger envelopes for the last output of those Tides modules set to Shift mode to transpose by 5ths and octaves.

Just Friends wrangles all the envelopes and the VCA is the OG Veils.

Shifty is used to take a single monophonic sequence and hocket it between the two Tides VCOs.

Beast’s Chalkboard transposes each Tides in octaves.

Planar controls both Tides’ Shape & Smoothness on X & Y and Øchd gets things spinning.

Bitwig Studio provides the sequence via VCV Marbles and also adds Delay and Reverb, all controlled with the MIDI Fighter Twister.
