🎥 What’s up, Geekly Goods fam? Fresh out of the theater, I’m here to spill my unfiltered thoughts on Kraven the Hunter, and… it’s not looking good. 😬 From the moment the lights dimmed, I was bracing for an action-packed, gripping adaptation of one of Marvel’s most intriguing villains. What I got instead was choppy editing, wooden acting, and a script that wastes both the potential of the character and the incredible talent of Aaron Taylor-Johnson. 🦁💔

While the movie promised to give us an R-rated, primal look into Kraven’s origins, the execution left much to be desired. From poorly constructed action sequences to an overly convoluted narrative, it felt like Sony squandered what could have been a bold entry in their Spider-Man Universe. Aaron Taylor-Johnson tries to bring his A-game, but even his charisma can’t salvage what feels like a missed opportunity.

Directed by J.C. Chandor and featuring a cast including Russell Crowe, Ariana DeBose, and Fred Hechinger, this movie aims high but misses the mark. It’s hard not to compare it to the struggles Sony faced with projects like Morbius—and this one may find itself in the same category.
