Etowah Indian Mounds - Sacred Site for the Cherokee and Muscogee Creeks - Etowah Mounds State Park is located in northwestern Georgia. I mistakenly said "northeastern" in the video. This is considered one of the most significant mound sites in North America. The museum does a good job of depicting how experts think the site looked when it was occupied. If you are in the area, it is well worth a visit. As a Cherokee, I found it very heart-warming to visit a place my distant relatives once lived. Feel free to comment below as long as the language is family-friendly. I had an earlier version of this video. This one is less shaky and has a few other improvements made to it.
